Tarneit interior painters keeping new estate homes looking new.
A new home should not look tired at five years old. Swapping builder-grade paint for a washable premium system keeps a Tarneit house looking like the display home it was bought as. We have painted Melbourne interiors for more than three decades: walls, ceilings, doors and apartments, all with a fixed written quote.
Builders spray a thin, flat, low-cost white because it only has to look clean at handover. Flat paint holds marks and rubs shiny if scrubbed. A washable low-sheen acrylic means scuffs wipe off with a damp cloth instead of becoming permanent. See the cost guide →
Yes, that is common. Missed cut-ins, patch flashing, thin coverage and overspray all turn up in new estates. We bring the affected areas up to standard, and where a defect period applies we can document the issues to support your builder claim.
Yes. Timber window frames, sills, skirtings and architraves are sanded, filled and finished in enamel along with the walls, so the whole room is done in one visit.
Yes. Plenty of our Tarneit work is a hallway, a couple of bedrooms or a touch-up visit before a rental inspection. Small jobs get the same written fixed quote and finish standard as a full repaint.

Window frame painting for Tarneit's estate homes. Aluminium frames etched and primed before colour, and reveals cut in cleanly by hand.
Apartment and townhouse painting across Tarneit's newer developments. Access and building rules sorted before the first coat.
Pre-sale painting for Tarneit homes going to market. Scuffed builder paint replaced with a clean neutral that photographs well.
New estate homes here often have missed cut-ins, patchy flashing and thin coverage from the builder. This room is the opposite: straight lines at the cornice and picture rail, smooth enamel on the door and frames, and an even finish on the walls. That is the standard we bring when we repaint a home here.
Modernize Solutions is a family painting business that has worked across Melbourne's west since 1987. We are based in Braybrook and Tarneit is a regular run for us. Most jobs here are bringing patchy builder paintwork up to standard or repainting before sale. We are fully insured, and every job starts with a free written quote.
Modernize did a full interior repaint of our Yarraville weatherboard Lachlan quoted fairly, the team turned up on time, prepped the old flaking trim properly and were spotless cleaning up. Walls look brand new. Wouldn't use anyone else.
Thanks to the Modernize team who recently painted our home and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The communication and attention to detail helped make the process so much easier. Timelines and expectations were met - which is super important during a renovation. Would be happy to employ then again
The team at Modernize Solutions painted the house interior and exterior and we were truly amazed on the transformation and what a fantastic job on completion. Their professionalism, friendly nature and eye for detail made it effortless and a pleasure to deal them.
